Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Zulaykho Makhkamova visit to DeSilk
This is an official meeting of the Uzbekistan delegation, after a meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam on January 21, 2024 to learn about Vietnam's mulberry silk industry. It is known that according to the schedule, the group will also visit Bao Loc (Lam Dong) - the current mulberry capital of Vietnam to learn more about the process of growing mulberry, raising silkworms, reeling silk, and weaving silk of Vietnam.
Founder Van Hang of DeSilk shares the story with the distinguished delegation from Uzbekistan
With careful preparation in advance, Founder Van Hang was very happy and excited about this meeting. Uzbekistan is located in Central Asia and was an important stop for traders on the Silk Road connecting the East and the West thousands of years ago. This country has a long history of silk and is currently one of the world's three major silk producing countries, behind only China and India. Currently, Uzbekistan's silk is exported to many countries around the world, including Vietnam. However, Vietnam also has its own unique features about traditional silk that DeSilk is proud to share.
The guests listened attentively and took notes
Despite language limitations, host DeSilk and his Uzbek guests were still able to find a common language thanks to their love of silk. The way DeSilk built the brand with three pillars of creativity in nature, culture and traditional Vietnamese crafts, thereby telling stories about Vietnamese beauty on silk, making a strong impression on Uzbek guests.
The good feelings from today's meeting will be kept forever
And although it is only a private enterprise with a short period of operation, DeSilk's message: "Where silk tells stories” really touched the guests. Questions were continuously asked from the Deputy Prime Minister herself as well as members who are owners of Uzbekistan silk businesses to Founder Van Hang and were answered thoroughly. From spreading work pride to communication, taking advantage of available resources from Ministries - Departments - State Sectors to make more people know and bring products to the world's major playground.
The guest seemed interested in DeSilk silk scarves
Impressed by the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan wrote emotional words in DeSilk's commemorative book. This is truly a priceless gift for DeSilk as the brand has just celebrated its 5th anniversary and is making efforts to bring Vietnamese silk on the world map.
DeSilk's guestbook now includes the signature of a special guest from Uzbekistan
And although there are still many things both sides want to learn about each other, due to time constraints, cả chủ nhà và các vị khách have to wait until another time. The commemorative gifts, group photos and most of all the warm feelings the two sides gave each other will forever remain in the hearts of those present today.
